Hi there! We just got back in town from an amazing trip to St. Simon's. I'm officially on spring break, and will be catching up on a lot around the house... including getting you up to speed on our bathroom renovation.
We've been tiling! Although it took us quite a few days, I'll give you the cliff notes version... (which I promise will be much less tedious than the real thing was).
We laid out the tile in a dry run, then labelled the pieces
(I HIGHLY recommend this step - there was a lot of finagling to do).
I even labelled the pieces to be cut around the drain.
Frank got to work with the tile saw, and I got busy laying tile.
Shower floor is all in!
Walls are up, too! More on that later.
Also, last week I was so caught up in tiling, report card assessing, and packing for our little trip that I completely missed my little blog's 1st birthday (I'm such a bad mom).
